Grilled Prawn with Cilantro Lime Sauce

Prawn skewer is very suitable for party snacks, pair it with the garlic lime sauce with the chopped cilantro. It makes the taste more better.


  • 250g Prawn
  • 20g Cilantro
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 Lime
  • 50mL Olive oil
  • ½ tsp Cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Peel the shrimp and leave the tail. Clean and deveined the shrimp.

3. Chop the cilantro and juice the lime.

4. Mince the garlic.

5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper.

6. Add the prawn in the bowl, toss well and refrigerate for an hour to marinate.

7. Toss again and place the prawn in skewer about 3-4 pieces.

8. Place the prawns on the rack over a baking pan and cook it about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

9. Brush it with the marinade and cook for another 2 minutes.

10. Remove from the oven. Sprinkle with cilantro and serve.
